Sprinkler Fitting Eligibility
To be eligible to compete in the ABC Western Michigan Craft Competition, the following criteria must be met:

The company is an ABC member

Individual must be currently entrolled in their 3rd/4th year of class/training at WMCI or an in-house DOL or nationally accredited apprenticeship/training program

Training programs should include formal craft training and apprenticeship programs as well as written exams and practical performance tests

Individual must not be certified as a journeyman
A journeyman is defined as someone who holds a journeyman license from any state, city, county, or municipality; possesses U.S. Department of Labor journeyman's credentials; or is compensated as a journeyman
Nominations open each year in October.
