ABC and MIOSHA
ABC WMC is proud to have an alliance with the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA).
The MIOSHA Alliance was formed to connect ABC member contractors statewide with information, guidance, and access to training resources to help protect the health and safety of workers. This is done by reducing and preventing exposure to safety and health hazards. The alliance primarily addresses “focus four” issues, including: fall hazards, electrical hazards, struck by hazards, and caught between/crushed by hazards.
Through the alliance, ABC Michigan and MIOSHA work together to increase and promote on-the-job safety and health and create better communication between ABC Michigan members and MIOSHA for the benefit of a safer workforce.
Events
ABC WMC and members host multiple events each year to provide members with opportunities to connect directly with the MIOSHA team. That includes the member Safety Stand Down days and the Annual Safety Breakfast. This breakfast brings safety leaders together to discuss the construction industry’s most significant safety issues.
ABC Self-Insured Workers' Compensation Fund
Owned and operated by its members, the ABC Fund offers the same protection as an insurance company. With claims management specific to the construction industry and lower expenses, the Fund passes the savings back to its members.

OSHAlogs.com is a secure, web-based application that enables employers to create each state’s first report of injury, track injuries, print all required OSHA reports, and view injury metrics in real-time.
This platform is free for all ABC WMC members and helps generate forms like:
